This is my ninth year teaching here at Summit. I taught first grade for seven years and I'm currently teaching second grade. After graduating from Fresno State I also worked as a substitute teacher for various local school districts for two years. I love teaching and especially love teaching the children here at Summit.
As a teacher believe that it is extremely important to teach to individual needs in order to become successful with student growth and in developing characteristics for a successful academic career. I like holding high expectations for student achievement at all levels. I believe in teaching students to accept differences and embrace diversity in order to further enrich our learning environment.
Each student is unique and always has something to contribute to our learning community. I strongly believe in parent involvement. As parent’s we are our child’s first teachers therefore maintaining that academic involvement is highly essential in your child’s academic success.
