Hello! My name is Vanesa Ramos. I was born in Ventura County but have lived in Porterville for the past 25 years. I am married with no children. My husband and I love to travel and spend time with our families and friends. We have been married for 2 years now and it has been the best 2 years with my best friend. We are always busy trying new things and helping our friends and families.
I graduated from Monache High School in 2003. I received my Liberal Studies Assoicates of Art degree through Porterville College. I earned my Bachleor of Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno. After working as a substiute for Tulare County Office of Education and a tutor for the Tule River Indian Study Center, I returned to college to earn my Special Education Mild/Moderate credential from California State University, Bakersfield.
This is my first year in teaching. I am the kindergarten through sixth grade Education Specialist for Summit Charter Academy Mathew. I provide reading, writing, and mathematics in the dual immersion program to students who have an I.E.P. I am excited to help my students in their academic progress. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to teach the children at SCA Mathew.
