Born and raised in Porterville, California, this is a place that I am so grateful to call home! I had the honor of attending elementary school, Jr. High and high school (I am a Monache Marauder through and through) in this great little town! I have been mentored and influenced by many educators in this town and they have inspired me to become an educator that is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to make a child successful.
I earned my Bachelors from CSU Bakersfield and my teaching credential through Point Loma Nazarene University. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Administration through Fresno Pacific University.
I began my teaching career at Alta-Vista in 2004, as a 5th grade teacher. I proudly joined the Burton School District in 2006 and have had the privilege of teaching at Jim Maples Academy and William R. Buckley.
Life has brought me many blessings, including my incredible husband of 11 years and my two amazing children. I enjoy creating memories with my family, laughing with friends, collaborating with colleagues and cheering on my Los Angeles Kings! I am eager to begin my journey as a BES Bullpup!
